Chukwuma Promise

(Co-founder and CEO of Promakar Flourmills Nig Ltd.)
A Bsc holder in Business Administration from the University of Abuja in Nigeria, and a student member of the ACCA (Association of chartered certified accountants) in the United Kingdom. He worked at KMC Chain Ind Co Ltd. (a Nigerian import and trading company) for nearly four years, where he obtained experience in marketing, product development, and brand building. Before leaving KMC, he worked as a regional sales executive for North East Nigeria and later for North West Nigeria. He was also employed at Hengen Investment Ltd, a Nigerian brokerage firm. He is excited about agriculture and believes that it is Africa's future. He enjoys learning and reads three books per month on average, in addition to spending time with his family.

Chukwuma Chiamaka

(Co-founder and CFO of Promakar Flourmills Nig Ltd.)
She has a bachelor's degree in economics from Covenant University in Ogun State, Nigeria, and a master's degree in economics and international financial economics from Warwick University in Coventry, United Kingdom. She also belongs to ACCA as a student (Association of certified chartered accountant). She worked at PWC (Price Waterhouse Coopers) Nigeria as well as Cowry Asset Management Limited Nigeria for a short time. She is very passionate about food cultivation and believes that much more needs to be done in Africa in this area. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, and she enjoys cooking.

Bukola Akande


ACCA, BSc, MSc
She has over 8 years of auditing, business finance, and working capital management expertise. She has also worked as a management consultant in the field of finance for small to medium-sized businesses. As a senior auditor, she has worked in both the public and private sectors. She has a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom, as well as a BSc in Economics and an MSc in Finance from the University of Ilorin in Nigeria. She also belongs to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
